To whom it may concern
Dupuis Homebuilders (Mr. Brent Dupuis—General Contractor, Majority Business Owner) built my house @ 651 Kingfisher Avenue, Sheridan , WY , 82801. The home is located in the Osprey I addition, off of Big Goose Creek Road (extension of Loucks Avenue , driving West out of Sheridan proper)
The house is a 2-story sided house with approx 2200 sq ft of combined 1st and 2nd floor living space, with an approximate 600 sq ft unfinished basement.
The home required about 2 months to fully construct, from dirt work to finishing and move-in.
Over the years, I have had approximately 6 homes built for me to suit, in about 3 different states—TX, WY (twice), OK (twice), LA (twice).
This home, designed and built by Brent Dupuis and his Team, is by far the finest home that has been built for me. Period!
I have pictures of the home in every phase of construction—the choice of building materials is quite good—the house framing is outstanding--#1 grade wood and extreme attention-to-detail with centering and leveling of the walls and door/window headers and cut-outs.
The hardwood flooring installed in the house is a specialty of Dupuis Home Builders—Personally, I have never seen such quality work in choice of materials and installation of the floor itself. WOW!
The tile work, also custom-done by Dupuis, is remarkable, too. We had slate installed in the kitchen & entries and we were quite-pleased (and have had a lot of compliments) on this flooring work.
Dupuis specializes in concrete counter tops for the kitchen/baths—this stuff is gorgeous and really sets off the home style. This concrete is much prettier (we think!) than anything that we saw in pre-formed Granite pieces @ Home Depot and other stores.
But the finishing work is where Brent excels—each window, door jamb, closet opening is picture-framed! That’s right—we were so impressed with the carpentry work/design that we simply didn’t need to dress the windows—we just hung wooden blinds in the window insets—we certainly didn’t want to cover over Brent’s handiwork with drapes/sheers.
Brent allowed us to make significant changes to the original house plans (my Wife has interior design skills)—he accommodated our changing things here and there and then allowed us to add many other custom items to the finished home—excellent work was done tiling-in a shower in the MBR and having bull-nose facing put on the sheet rock—these were just a few of the items that we had changed. Brent came through beautifully with all of the custom effects.
Brent help me design and then constructed my ‘ham radio shack’—this room is where I man my radio gear and it would be comparable to a library or such in any other home. I am most-proud of what Brent was able to do with this room. It turned out to be a show case for the rest of the home and I am thrilled to be able to enjoy my hobby in a room that is quite functional but also beautiful! Brent’s Team strung 2 attic antennas for me during the framing phase of house construction—then coax was run down from the antennas and fed-thru the walls to my radio station desk.
Overall, we were extremely pleased with the home construction—and, again, I have many pictures that can attest to Brent’s workmanship and skill in managing craftsmen to build a quality home.
Come see for yourself! Or contact me and I’ll e-mail pictures showing each phase of the construction work. sgilbert@rockwellpetroleum.com
I am a proud Dupuis-Built Home Owner and I am sure that this home will provide years of enjoyment and fine living conditions for my family!
